Kevin’s passion to create art sprung from time spent on a family farm in central Missouri. Growing up in a rural Osage County with abundant lakes, ponds, rivers and woods led to a keen interest in hunting and fishing. The spark to be an artist arose from seeing wildlife art on the cover of fishing magazines. Kevin was impressed that art could generate the feeling and excitement of being there. He purchased a paint set, and the journey of a lifetime began.
Kevin was introduced to the Black Hills by his wife, Penny. He was immediately taken by the beauty of the Dakota landscape.
Kevin’s work may also be seen at Prairie Edge Gallery
