artists of the black hills

Art is the perfect way for me to speak the indescribable, to share  deep corners of myself that would otherwise remain hidden and  suppressed, and to hopefully to bring a smile to your heart that wasn't there before.

Bonnie Omang is a multimedia artist currently working with clay, oil  paints and watercolor.

She was born with artistic propensity and has been creating works of  art since she was old enough to steal her Mother's lipstick and put a  monochromatic mural on the wall.

Bonnie's formal art training came at Black Hills State University in  Spearfish, S.D. and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Loveland, Colorado.  Her perpetual search for knowledge continues through various workshops  and artist's groups.
