Influenced by the American artists of the early 20th century and a professional artist for over 30 years, Mick B. Harrison has gained a reputation as a prolific and accomplished painter of western and prairie subject matter. Sometimes with humor, always insightful and with professionalism, Harrison's paintings tell a story and reflect the artist's rural upbringing. In addition to his studio paintings, his interest in pleinair (outdoor) painting and oil "studies" using a loose style has proven popular with his collectors. |

Founding member and current president of the Artists of the Black Hills, Mick Harrison paints from his studio in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, near the Black Hills. |
