Lakota artist Sandy Swallow-Morgan, virtually self-taught,  pursued her longing to create art capturing her spiritual connection to nature, home, and family within the context of her Native American heritage.

Sandy is particularly well known for her meticulous hand-pulled block prints, which she uses to make dramatic, layered pieces saturated with colors, depicting traditional Native American symbols and images from the natural world.
