Reed Dancer is my depiction of a Least Bittern hunting in the reeds. Tis little marsh resident is the smallest of the heron family. I particularly like their habit of walking through the vertical reeds which allowed me to bring my main subject up off of the base naturally while keeping the minimalist feel to the detail. Overall one of my favorite pieces.
