Amy Lehman is a fine art photographer specializing in images of the natural world. Her creative life began on the historic family ranch in the Badlands of Western SD where she still resides. Amy has a sense of kinship with the land and native plants of Western South Dakota and enjoys sharing the resulting fine art photographs in hopes of inspiring others to see beauty, metaphor and meaning in nature.
Her work has been exhibited in regional venues including Dahl Arts Center and Perfect Hanging Gallery in Rapid City and Washington Pavilion and Eastbank Gallery, Sioux Falls. She is a self-taught photographer but has studied the arts extensively and attended many workshops including Chuck Kimmerle, Bruce Barnbaum, Steve Babbitt and Guy Tal.
